Anyone who currently plays tennis is welcome to come through and play social tennis at Jeppe Quondam Sports Club and meet our tennis members, play a couple of sets of tennis and interact with all of us and get a feel for the club and its members and see how you like it.

 

Normally we suggest people looking to join the tennis section that they should first come and play some social tennis for 2 - 3 times as a visitor (visitor fee of R30) before deciding if they would like to officially join the club. A person would have to be of average strength and know how to play tennis in order to become a member. For people who don't know how to play tennis or are rusty and looking to improve their tennis skills, we do have tennis coaches who can assist you in the Edenvale and Bedfordview area.

We play social tennis every Saturday afternoon from 2:00pm and on Sunday mornings from 9:00am

 

We play social tennis non-stop throughout the year and play league tennis during the year (men's, ladies and mixed), we also hold our annual tennis club championships. Both league and championships are optional.

 

We play for the enjoyment of the game and don't obsess with winning and losing. It's relaxing to play a couple of sets of tennis and make some new friends along the way.
